What was the highlight of Samed Tamarind Beach Resort

Amazing hotel in beautiful location

The hotel was absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were beautiful and in a premium location. Beds were comfy and the area is quite calm, so we could sleep perfectly at night. Breakfast had quite a lot of options and cocktails at the bar were spectacular. We will come back for sure next time we are at Koh Samet!

Outstanding value, beautiful views, sea view room was awesome.

The sea view room was outstanding. The bathroom was beautiful and luxurious.

The only thing of the whole stay which could have been better, the king sized bed was clearly two smaller mattresses placed together.

It was good overall. I think it’s a great price value.

I loved the beach , villa interior and the view.

I didn’t like how they set up the breakfast, and not enough personal. Food in the restaurant was OK. I didn’t like the that there is no solid pavement everywhere. The rules about beach towels were very strange , so is rules about the room key.

Thank you for making our stay so lovely.

We loved the property, the cleanliness, comfort, the smiling faces of the staff. The sea view villa was amazing, we woke up to the sound and view of the sea. The beach is beautiful and impeccable, clear water and so blue. The bar & restaurant was really relaxing, on the beach with excellent food too, well plated and a pleasure to the eyes and the palette. We loved every attention to detail all over the resort. The owner is a wonderful person, soft spoken open to ideas and is particular about making your stay comfortable. Fairly new property 10/10.

Brand new boutique resort. Beautiful decorated and very clean bungalows. Wonderful sea view at the nicest beach of this island. Quiet area. Very nice and professional staff. The restaurant has a wide and very good selection of healthy food. Very delicious.

I didn't want to leave

Simply I did not want to leave, it was my perfect break. The hotel was excellent, the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel even supplied beach towels, bottles of water for the beach a bag to carry all in and the loungers on the beach are reserved for the hotel guests. Though I noted the hotel staff were continually asking non residents to move. For me a perfect hotel in a wonderful location.

There are quite a few mosquito s of an evening, the hotel team do all possible to minimise the problem.

Excellent. Relaxing. I enjoyed morning and evening on the patio enjoying the sounds and view of the ocean

I liked the large main bedroom, large patio with a view of the ocean, soaking bathtub for 2, separate shower area, twin sinks, separate toilet area, separate area for closets and changing clothes, good location, friendly staff, a Nespresso coffee machine and capsules

Breakfast and dinner service was a little slow, but maybe because it is a new resort and during low season (September). But service was slow everywhere I went, but it was ok to relax and view the ocean while waiting

The food was excellent, very nice room with beautiful bathroom.

Be careful to reach the island of Koh Samet. The ferry stops at 5 pm and you need to take a private boat which is 20 times more expensive.

Incredibly beautiful, friendly and relaxed resort with a professional, helpful kind and smiley staff

The ocean view villa was amazing. The interior atmosphere of the villa was so cozy with the local materials. The staff was really friendly, kind and smiley. The reception service was helpful and excellent english speaking. The territory of the the resort was stunning with the greens, flowers. Everything was clean and well organised. The beach, other bars, market and juices/smooth maker point were just few minutes walk from the resort. The beach was wonderful with the sunsets. It wasn't crowded. The menu of Reef Bar&Restaurant was delicious with colorful tastes. The cocktails were really creative and unique:)

What was the highlight of Samed Tamarind Beach Resort

Wonderful

New room with a beautiful balcony and tasteful interior. The bed was broader than usual and fitted two adults and one child comfortably. Overall, the room was spacious. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere in the resort is relaxed although there were quite a lot of people at the beach.

There are definitely more remote and less busy beaches at Koh Samet (still all is quiet and relaxed). Regarding the rooms we missed: a rack to dry clothes and beach towels on the balcony, a curtain at the dressing room area as well as a small blanket at the entrance to clean the feet and reduce sand in the room.

A special place

The room was super. Stylish, spacious, great attention to detail. Lovely balcony and view. Bathroom was luxurious, and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was a la carte and all included. High quality food and drinks.

There was nothing not to like.
